My TypeScript Experience
TypeScript is integral to every project I build. Across 4 years I have used it on every layer of the stack — React and Next.js frontends, NestJS and Node.js backends, shared monorepo packages, and CI scripts. My expertise covers advanced generics, discriminated unions, mapped and conditional utility types, and strict null checking. I enforce type safety across API boundaries with shared DTOs, Zod schemas for runtime validation, and TypeORM/Prisma for type-safe database queries. This discipline catches entire classes of bugs at compile time, accelerates onboarding for new team members, and keeps large codebases refactorable with confidence.
