My PostgreSQL Experience
Relational data integrity matters — which is why PostgreSQL backs the majority of my production work. I design normalised schemas, write complex queries with joins and window functions, and tune performance through indexing, EXPLAIN analysis, and partitioning. Real deployments include a food ordering system processing thousands of orders daily, a car marketplace handling millions of listings, and multi-tenant SaaS platforms where row-level security keeps client data isolated. I access PostgreSQL through TypeORM or Prisma for type safety, and configure connection pooling (PgBouncer) for high-concurrency loads.
